We were asked by Autochair Ltd to provide a bespoke climate control solution for their new training and office expansion project.
Autochair is a world leading supplier of vehicle adaptation products for those with impaired and limited mobility, and has been making a difference to the lives of tens of thousands of people for more than 30 years.
After a site visit and consultation with the client, we designed a compatible heating and cooling solution for the new office space, using Fujitsu’s new range of compact ceiling cassette and wall mounted units, which provide heating and cooling, while optimising energy efficiency. Each room has its own wall mounted controller that the end user can program settings such as the set temperature, fans speed, and timers schedules.
We also designed a Heat Recovery Ventilation system that provides enough fresh air for the occupants via Daikin VAM series of HRV units, these units mounted above the suspended ceiling are extremely quiet in operation and are only visible by the small white circular air valves mounted in the suspended ceiling.
The Daikin VAM HRV units are controlled by a wall mounted controller, were ventilation mode and fan speed can be selected along with time schedules to coincide with the customers working hours. HRV units provide the clean filtered fresh air via a heat exchanger that pre warms the in coming air with extracted air from the room, and therefore reduces heating or cooling requirement to the occupied spaces.
